Aileen Lewis Christensen, 96, of Idaho Falls passed away August 30, 2018.
She was born in Vernal, Utah on August 17, 1922 to Earl and Pearl Rammell Lewis. When she was five years old she moved to Shelley with her mother. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1940.
On June 8, 1941 she married Murray Kaye Christensen. Kaye passed away on June 4, 2003, just four days before their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Aileen worked as an Accounting Clerk for Utah Power and Light and retired after 20 years.
She is survived by her son, Chris (Jeanette) Christensen of Lake Tapp, WA, daughter, Tonya Pearson of Idaho Falls, grandchildren, Corene Morton of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Chad (Kari) Christensen of Enumclaw, WA, Dr. Tammy Hill of Bartlesville, OK, step brother, Dr. Gordon Harmston of California, and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, Eugene Lewis, son-in-law, Robert Pearson, grandson-in-law, Jim Morton, and two great grandsons.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak Street, in Shelley. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 2:00 pm till 2:30 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
