Amy Jensen Eversole, 86, of Idaho Falls former Shelley resident passed away December 11, 2008 at Lily & Syringa Assisted Living in Idaho Falls.
She was born December 13, 1921 in Wapello, Idaho to Waldmer Jensen and Geneva Nelsen. She grew up in the Wapello and Blackfoot areas and graduated from Blackfoot High School.
She married Frank Eversole April 30, 1953 in Blackfoot. They were later divorced.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She loved to crochet and embroider and make doll clothes. She enjoyed being a homemaker and also liked to fish.
She is survived by her children Mavis Christensen of Portland, Oregon and Frank Eversole of Utah and 3 Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents a son Kevin Eversole, 1 Granddaughter, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday December 15, 2008 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with Bishop Dennis Crofts, conducting. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:30 till 12:40 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
