Belva Parkinson Worlton, 79, of Shelley, Idaho passed away April 20, 2006 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center after a short illness.
Belva was born February 5, 1927 in Plano, Idaho to Cleone & Vera Weatherston Parkinson. She graduated from Edmunds High School and attended Ricks College.
On November 1, 1946 she married Phill Worlton in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They have lived in Shelley for the past 35 years. After retiring in 1983 they spent their winters in Arizona.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She loved sports, cooking, and quilting.
She is survived by her husband Phill Worlton of Shelley, children; Linda (Terry) Pollard of Boise, ID, Brenda (Walt) Sayer of Webster City, IA, Brent (Jennifer) Worlton of Maricopa, AZ, Paula (Ralph) Isom of Osgood, Paul (Kim) Worlton of Shelley, ID, two brothers, Merle Parkinson and Delmer Parkinson both of Plano, ID, 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday April 22, 2006 at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with Bishop Curtis Burtenshaw conducting. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 to 2:40 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
