Art and Bessie were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on November 16, 1949. After they were married, settled in Jameston, ID, where they owned and operated a dairy farm and raised five children. One son, Kim, died at birth.

Mom loved her Savior, Jesus Christ, and served faithfully in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which included Ward Primary and Relief Society President and Stake Relief Society Presidency among many others. She loved to crochet, sew, oil paint, read, do puzzles, watch game shows and play card games. She was a great cook and wonderful baker of bread and treats.

She is survived by her children, Martha Jo Park of Orem, Susan (Rob) Gessel, Pam (Rich) Irwin of La Habra, California, Janice (Karen) Park-Blanchard.
