Beulah C. Jensen

Beulah C. Jensen 88, passed away at her home in Idaho Falls, Idaho April 3rd, 2006 of congestive heart failure.

She was born January 9th 1918 to Laura and Holger Christensen in Shelley, Idaho.

Beulah was the 4th of 8 children. She married Edgar R. Jensen October 13, 1937 at the court house in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Beulah grew up in Shelley, where she lived as a farmer’s daughter and a farmer’s wife. Her door was always open to neighbors and the help in the fields for coffee, snacks and meals. She loved fishing and her winters spent in Fountain of Youth, CA. where Beulah was baptized into the Lutheran Church after their retirement.

Beulah is survived by her children Michael Vern Jensen of Idaho Falls, Douglas C. (Janet) Jensen of Texas and Lori A. (Joe) Empey of Idaho Falls and a sister Ilene Kearney of Shelley, eight grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Friday April 7th at Nalder Funeral Home 110 West Oak in Shelley. The family will visit with friends from 11:30 Am to 12:45 PM before the services at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
