Bill D. Johnson

William “Bill’ D. Johnson, 85, of Ammon, passed away August 10, 2018.

He was born May 28, 1933 in Aberdeen, Idaho to William W. and Edna Johnson. He was the oldest of four children.

In 1951 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War.

Bill later married Noreen Johnson. He was blessed with three children.

He is survived by his wife, Noreen, children, Jerry (Cathy) Johnson, Kelly (Dan) Hamison, Dena Johnson, siblings, Vaughn (Connie) Johnson, Loritta (John) Porter, Drew (Jean) Johnson, three granddaughters, one grandson, and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak Street, in Shelley. The family will meet with friends Thursday morning for one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery with military rites by American Legion, David B. Bleak Post 93 assisted by the U.S. Navy.
