Brantly Steve Kirkham, 18, passed away at home and returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on April 3, 2008.
He was born on June 3, 1989 in Provo, Utah, to Steven and Valon Hope Kirkham. After spending his first 3 years in St. Louis, Missouri, he moved with his parents back to Idaho. Brantly was a 2007 graduate of Shelley High School and was involved in the National Honor Society, concert and pep band, and was employed at Broulims. He was a high achiever which was evident from good grades, obtaining his Eagle Scout, and fulfilling all requirements for his Duty to God. Brantly enjoyed reading, writing and playing music; he enjoyed expressing himself through poetry and short stories. He loved to sing in the church choir and play the trumpet and piano in his spare time. He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and desired strongly to serve a mission which his family feels he is now serving.
He enjoyed spending time with his family which included camping, waterskiing, playing games and watching movies. Brantly was always concerned for those around him and was often seen doing kind things for his family and friends. He had a great love for his dog, Max.
