Catherine Ceceilia Ward

Catherine Ceceilia Ward, 65, of Shelley passed away March 8, 2014 at her home under hospice care.

She was born July 20, 1948 in Spokane, Washington to Bobbie A. and Florence L. Cannon Hibbs.

She went to school in Spokane, Aberdeen and graduated from Highland High school in Pocatello in May of 1967.

She married Wilbur Lemar Griffin in August of 1967 and had four sons before divorcing in June of 1975.

She married Warren Keith Wells and later divorced.

On January 26, 1977 she married the love of her life James Ward, together they had a son and daughter.

She loved crocheting, beading, scrapbooking, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Catherine is survived by her husband, James Ward of Shelley; children, Michael Ward, Amy Wills, David Griffin, Ronald Griffin all of Shelley; Roger Griffin and James Griffin both of Idaho Falls; her mother, Florence Hibbs of Kennewick, WA; three sisters, Gloria Eaton of Kennewick, WA, Shirley Williams and Donna Mclain both of Blackfoot; one brother, Robert Hibbs of Pocatello; 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobbie Hibbs.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, in Shelley. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:00 till 11:45 at the funeral home.
