Connie Ann Longmore

Connie Ann Longmore, 73, of Shelley, Idaho passed away on June 24, 2021 in her home under the loving care of Encompass Health Hospice.

Connie was born on November 18, 1947 in Shelley, Idaho to Donald and Inez Fitch. Connie was blessed with a loving sister, Shirley Freidenberger, of Idaho Falls and two brothers, Dale Mangum and Ray Fitch, of Idaho Falls.

Connie attended schools in Shelley and graduated from Shelly High school in 1965. Connie married Gary White in 1967 and were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Angela Ann White and Suzette Ann White of Idaho Falls, whom she loved and adored with all of her heart.

Connie worked for EG&G for many years and then went on to retire from the United States Postal Service as a rural route carrier. Along the way Connie met and married her lifelong friend, Doyle Longmoore. Together they made many wonderful memories.

Anyone who knew Connie would say she was, giving, selfless, and compassionate. This is evident of the way she cared for her dear brother, Ray for many years.

During Connie’s short time on this planet she touched so many people’s lives. Everywhere she went she had friends and her laugh was unforgettable. There is no doubt that Connie’s family knew how much they were loved by her. Her most favorite thing in the world was spending time with her daughter and grandsons and great-grandchildren. Connie loved her rose bushes and making her yard beautiful in the summer for everyone to enjoy.

Connie is survived by, daughter Angela Ann White of Shelley, sister Shirley Freidenberger of Idaho Falls, brother Ray Fitch of Idaho Falls, grandsons Josh (Brittnee), McKinlee and Greyson Wheeler of Boise; Jordan (Taylor) and Treg Wheeler of Boise; Kemp (Hailey), Khloe and Kaelyn Williams of Idaho Falls; and Jacob (Laura) Wheeler. And many adoring nieces and nephews from Idaho to Arizona.

Connie is preceded in death by her daughter, Suzette Ann White, her former husband and lifelong friend Doyle Longmore, her mother and father Inez and Donald Fitch and brother, Dale Mangum.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak). The family will receive friends Tuesday June 29, from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M and Wednesday morning from 10:00 till 10:45 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
