Danielle Lynette Ware Howell, 44, lifelong resident of Shelley, passed away Monday, November 19, 2018, from injuries sustained from a car accident.
Danielle was born March 7, 1974 in Ohio to Earl Wayne Ware and Noama Jewel Fisher Ware.
In 1976 the Wares moved their small family to Shelley, Idaho. As a young child Danielle loved to be outside doing all kinds of activities such as softball and anything to do with animals. She was very shy growing up so she sought after others that shared her personality. One way she built close relationships to her friends was through creating, building and sharing sticker books. Her favorite types of stickers were the “scratch’n’stiff”. Many of her classmate have often commented that “she was very kind and equal to everyone, never putting herself above anyone”. Another common personality trait was her smile that let everyone see her beauty inside. That trait served her well her whole life. Danielle graduated from Shelley High School in 1992.
Shortly after graduation she started working at Idaho Supreme. It’s there that she me her husband, and forever best friend Doug Howell. It only took a short time before they knew they were meant to be together. They were married in 1994. They also knew their life wouldn’t be complete without a little one in their family. Along Came Harley Jay, September 23, 1994. And WOW did he change their lives.
Danielle had several hobbies. She was entertained by old movies especially horror movies. She collected horror comic books as well as dolls and video games with Harley. She had a love of animals and to Doug’s dismay, she kept collecting them.
Danielle worked several jobs throughout her life; Donna’s Diner, Huntsmans and Albertsons. Never straying too far from Harley. She was always a mom and a wife first. In 2005 Danielle joined Doug in his company, American Overhead Door. Danielle showed how invested she was in their family; she not only did the books but helped with customer service, installation, and with any other odds jobs that need completed. Doug knew the business would have never ran as efficient as it did with her.
The last several years Danielle had a little time to herself now Harley was graduated and off to work. She spent most of her time with various animal organizations. Donating her time to help abandoned and lost animals find homes. This helped fulfil her lifelong dream of not only helping local animals, but animals around the United States.
If you were to have asked Danielle what her biggest accomplishments in life was, she would have no doubt said, “Doug and Harley”. She spent her time in their service. Working side by side with both of them in whatever activity or task they were involved with. If she didn’t know how to do it, she would learn.
Doug and Harley have lost their, wife, mother, and friend. Danielle was their world and they were hers.
