David John Tew

David John Tew, 48, of Idaho Falls was born November 18, 1960 in Idaho Falls to Earl Hill and Beth Luie Johnson Tew.  He was raised and attended schools in Firth.            

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served a mission in Japan.            

He attended Ricks College and graduated with a degree in Automotive Business.  He worked at Smith Honda for 24 years.            

On January 18, 1985 he married Barbara Gilbert.  They have four children.            

He is survived by his wife of Idaho Falls; children, Logan (Tyann) of Pocatello; Nathan (Katlin) of Rexburg; Amanda and Carolyn of Idaho Falls; siblings, Coral Esplin of Payson, UT; Maureen Squires of Idaho Falls; Lorna (Vaughn) Cook of Lewis, CO; Mark Tew of Idaho Falls; Paul (Martha) Tew of Rexburg; Norm (Brenda) Tew of Shelley; Bonny Tew of Rexburg; Darrell (JoAnn) Tew of Yakima, WA.            

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, LaMaun Esplin.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday July 25th at the Idaho Falls 18th Ward Chapel (1200 Dunbar Drive). The family will receive friends Saturday morning 9:00 till 9:40 before the services at the church.  Interment will be at Fielding Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
