Deborah Lynn Taylor, 54, of Blackfoot passed away July 20, 2014 at her home under the care of Encompass Home Health & Hospice.
She was born August 3, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas to John H. Burroughs and Vera M. King Burroughs. She was raised in Texas, Florida, California and Idaho. She was a Navy Brat and as a young girl she followed her dad in the Navy. She attended schools in California and Idaho. She married William Eddie Taylor on August 19, 1977 in Blackfoot, Idaho.
She enjoyed being a part of Relay for Life, the name of her group was Deb’s Angels and raised over fourteen thousand dollars for the American Cancer Society. She also raised money for the American Cancer Society in Arizona. She was a Christian with a strong belief in God.
She was a very artistic person. She painted ceramics and lovely pictures. She was an avid San Francisco Football fan, and loved working in her yard and garden.
She is survived by her husband Ed Taylor of Blackfoot; her parents John and Vera Burroughs; a brother John (Robin) Burroughs of Blackfoot; and two sisters Darla (Tony) Lopez of Idaho Falls and Deedra (Marcus) Treat of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 10:00 till 10:45 a.m. at Nalder Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
