Delarion Michael Betzer

Delarion Michael Betzer, 10, of Shelley, left us to be with his Heavenly Father on February 24, 2009.

Del was born and lived in Waco, Texas for the first five years of his life.  He came to live with his forever family on August 18, 2004.

Everyone who knew Del loved him.  He had a smile that could light a room and a cry that would break your heart.  He loved music and the voices of his family and friends.  You could see his face light up when someone he loved would say his name.  He made you feel so loved.

Del is survived by his parents, Rick and Tina Betzer of Shelley; siblings: Eric (Shelley) of Chester; Gina (Zac) Clawson of Mineral, VA; Amber of Shelley; Jessica (Paul) Marcott of Boise; Brittney of Laie, HI; Breann, Shallon, Daniel, Tazier, Courtney, D’Asia, Austin, Dakota, Isabelle, Zoe, Alena, and Skyler all of Shelley; grandmothers, Lois Betzer of Arco; Reva Beard of Moore; and too many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews to list.

He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Ervin and Neal. Nothing will ever fill this hole left in our hearts. 

We know he’s breathing deep, seeing things he’s never seen before and running to join friends and family who’ve gone before.  We love you Del and will see you soon.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday February 27, 2009 at the Shelley Stake Center (325 East Locust) with Jay Stoddard, 1st councilor in the Shelley 2nd Ward conducting. The family will receive friends Friday 10:00 till 10:45 A.M. before the services at the church.  Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
