Dennis Eugene Ockerman

Dennis Eugene Ockerman, 71, of Shelley passed away June 21, 2020.

He was born February 22, 1949 in Shelley, Idaho to Melvin Vern and Jennie Idonna Eaton Ockerman. He had five siblings Jerold, Janice, Kristy, Steven, and Brad.

Dennis served in the U.S. Navy.

He married Debbie Hansen in 1970. They had two children, Terri Lynn and Tracey. They later divorced.

In 1974 he married Rose Van Buren. They had four children, Vicki, Travis, Richard, and Justin. They later divorced.

Dennis has been with his lifelong partner Sandra Rollins for 23 years.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his grandkids.

He is survived by his partner, Sandra Rollins of Shelley, children, Terri Lynn, Tracey, Vicki (Curt) Sumner, Travis (Teresa) Ockerman, Richard (Jamie) Ockerman, Justin Ockerman and 22 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steven.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak Street, in Shelley. Military rites will be performed by David B. Bleak Post 93. The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. till 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
