Donna Belle Marler, 83, of Idaho Falls, passed away December 2, 2010 at Idaho Falls Health & Rehab after a long illness.
Donna was born January 3, 1927 in Clifton, Idaho to Frank Marler and Janey Taylor Marler Harris. She was the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Preston High School. In about 1945 she and her mother moved to Idaho Falls to be close to her other sisters, LaReine, Adell, and Dolora. Her brother Dwain and his family were also close by. Her father passed away when she was a baby as well as two twin sisters that she didn’t ever meet.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a Primary Teacher and various other postitions. She was active in genealogy and family history.
Donna worked for many years developing film and painting portraits for Perks Photo. She was a talented photographer and seamstress and also enjoyed making many crafts for her family. She has been a special aunt and sister and will be missed.
She is survived by her sister, LaReine Feltman, nephew, Frank Price, niece, Tyra Feltman and several other nieces, nephews and their families that she loved.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and one brother. We are sure that she is enjoying the reunion with all of her family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday December 7, 2010 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Tuesday 1:00 till 1:40 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
