She was born November 17, 1924, 1

child of 6 to the late John and Alexia Chapman in Preston, Idaho. She primarily attended school in Preston, Idaho, but finished High School in Firth, Idaho. On December 21, 1944 she married A. Woodrow Petersen in Logan, Utah.
Donna was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served faithfully for many years in the Primary organization. She also held various callings in the Relief Society. Using her cooking and homemaking skills, she compassionately served those around her. In 1985 Donna and Woodrow fulfilled a year long mission together in Sacramento, California.
Donna is survived by her husband, Woodrow, son Dee and MarLyn of Firth, Idaho; son
David and Karen of Shelley, Idaho; son Ray and Mary Ann of Idaho Falls, Idaho; son
Michael and Fraun of Firth, Idaho; daughter Diana and Craig King of Perry, Utah; daughter Cindy and Boe Adams of Boise, Idaho; two brothers, Wilford and John Chapman, both of Firth, Idaho; and two sisters Shirley Johnson, of Firth, Idaho and Dorma Monroe of Soda Springs, Idaho. She is further survived by 28 grandchildren and

great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Lucille, and her daughter, Carolyn Phillips.
Funeral Services for Donna C. Petersen will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 22, at the Kimball Ward Chapel 744 N. 600 E. Firth, Idaho with Bishop Boyd Peterson conducting. Relatives and friends are welcome for the Viewing Service held at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 w. Oak in Shelley, Idaho, on Tuesday from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. and at the Kimball Ward Chapel on Wednesday, from 9:30-10:40 a.m. Interment will be held at the Goshen Cemetery.
