Donna Ruth Phillips, 78, of Woodville passed away October 31, 2006 at Rexburg Nursing & Rehabilitation.
She was born April 5, 1928 at Pocatello, Idaho to William John and Norma Selena Sundstrom Orchard. She grew up in Fort Hall and attended school in Blackfoot, graduating from Blackfoot High School.
On November 30, 1951 she married Floyd Lavoy Phillips in Fort Hall. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on February 12, 1980.
She enjoyed gardening, raising her family, cooking, housework, and traveling with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Floyd Lavoy Phillips of Woodville, three sons, Delbert Reeder of American Falls, Delmer Reeder of Idaho Falls, Dennis (Maria) Phillips of Rexburg, one daughter, Donna Burke of Farmington, UT, one brother, Lee Orchard of Blackfoot, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one granddaughter, and son-in-law, Duane Burke.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday November 3rd at the Woodville Second Ward Chapel (1555 North 700 East) with Bishop Jack Grover conducting. The family will receive friends Thursday evening 7:00 till 8:30 P.M at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Friday morning 9:30 till 10:40 A.M. at the church. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
