Dustin James McDonald, 25, of Idaho Falls, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 19, 2015.
He was born November 27, 1989, in Reno, Nevada to AnNisa Emily John and James Lawrence McDonald. He was the second of four children.
Dustin was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle and cousin.
He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and camping. He had a great sense of humor, and most people never walked away from him without a smile on their faces. He was well loved by all his family and friends. He has been enjoying working at the Idaho Falls Cal Ranch store for the past year.
He is survived by his mother, AnNisa (John) Sliker and five siblings: Stephan Bentley of Twin Falls, Cherish McDonald of Malta, and Jacob McDonald of Idaho Falls, Brookelyn Brizze, and Jacqueline Hayward, grandparents, Michael and Marcia Yates of Idaho Falls, great grandfather, Lavere John of Blackfoot. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Demi Malott of Idaho Falls, and his close friends Jim McCabe of the US Marines, Jed Jones of Nevada, Ryan Smith of Lakeland, Florida and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ronald L. John, James and Priscilla McDonald, great grandparents Zola John, Max and Lucille Heaton.
This was a sudden and tragic loss for all, he will be greatly missed.
Memorial services will be held 6:00 pm Friday, February 27, 2015 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, in Shelley.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4:30 till 5:45 pm.
