Ed W. Andersen

Ed Wayne Andersen, 66, of Firth, ID passed away Wednesday, September 11th, 2013, at his home.

He was born September 26th, 1946, in Rigby, ID to Marvin "Swede" Andersen and Leah Weekes Andersen.

Ed graduated from Bonneville High School and attended two years at Idaho State University.

He served in the United States Army for four years and was honorably discharged in 1969.

Ed married his soul mate, Noreen Bell in Pocatello, ID, in 1979, raised three children, and moved to Rigby, ID in 1991.

He was a professional driver for many years and retired as a bus driver from INL in 2009.

Ed, and the love of his life, Noreen, settled outside Firth, in 2003, where they built their dream ranch.

He enjoyed horseback riding, camping, motorcycling, snowmobiling, and hunting.

He loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his children and grandchildren.

His greatest joy was found working around the ranch with his best friend and partner, Noreen and taking care of their many animals.

Ed is survived by his wife, Noreen, his children, Adam (Summer) Andersen, Teri TeNgaio, and Tracy Anderson, four grandchildren, Dash, Koda, Kenzi, and Kai, his sister, Marva Lee (Ed) Arneson, and brother, Roger Andersen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Swede and Leah Andersen.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery with military rites by David B. Bleak Post 93.
