Eric Galvan-Hurtado, 20, of Shelley passed away May 1, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born April 10, 1995 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Rojelio Galvan and Mirella Galvan-Hurtado.
He attended schools in Shelley and graduated from Shelley High School in 2013.
He was planning on attending EITC to become a pharmacy technician.
Eric was employed at North West Cosmetics.
He loved his Pontiac Grand GT.
He enjoyed being outdoors and loved being with his family.
He is survived by his parents, siblings, Nelly G. (James A.) Merrill, Rojelio (Gabriela) Galvan, Vanesa G. (Juanoliva) Oliva, his grandparents, Maximina and Antonio Galvan and Trinidad Isaias Hurtado, his nieces and nephews, Yadhira Navaya, Rojelio Jesus, Juan Jr., Adrian, Xabien.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Antonio Galvan.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday May 6, 2015 at St Bernard’s Catholic Church, 584 W Sexton Street in Blackfoot. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
