Erma Maxine Caudle Hayden Farris, 92, of Shelley passed away December 12, 2008 at her home under hospice care.
She was born to Marion Irvin and Sarah Bell Caudle on August 31, 1916 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
She married Loren L. Hayden on October 20, 1934 in Idaho Falls. They had five children and later divorced. She married Noble Farris on July 8, 1965 in Las Vegas, NV. They lived in Sayre, Oklahoma and moved to Shelley in 1980 after Noble retired.
Erma is survived by her children, Lorna (Paul) Christensen of Surprise, Arizona; Gary (Beverly) Hayden of Shelley; John (Cindy) Hayden of Pocatello; Robert (Diane) Hayden of Sun City, Arizona; Lois (Bill) Andersen of Rancho Cucamonga, California; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, sister and two brothers.
She loved to play cards, cook and to have family around her. She was a caregiver to her mother, husband, and sister.
Erma was a very special, loving, caring, person. So wonderful and dear to us all. She always brought sunshine to everyone, whenever she was near. She gave us all special comfort, and she made us all welcome to her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. and Tuesday 1:00 till 1:45 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
