Evan Casteel Briggs

Evan Casteel Briggs was born on September 20, 1983 at the Riverview hospital and passed away November 3, 2016 surrounded by his family in Idaho Falls at the Hospice Home. He fought a courageous fight against cancer since 2009.

He loved the NFL football team, Green Bay Packers, as well as hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also loved car shows and low rider trucks, loved kids, and to make people laugh.

He was born and raised in Shelley Idaho and graduated the Shelley High School in 2001. Evan was a member of the LDS church.

He is survived by his parents Rhett and Sherry Briggs, sister Bonnie Briggs, brothers Rhett F., Dustin (Noime), Tyghe (Desiree), his life long friend Randi Chadburn, and adored his nieces and nephews Steffanie, Carson, Cooper, Izaiah, Harley, Addie, Oaklee, and Kaiden, as well as his dog Charlie.

He is going to be deeply missed by everyone of his family and friends especially his favorite, Harley.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2016 at the Taylor Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. and Monday morning from 9:30 till 10:30 a.m. both at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
