Floyd Lavoy Phillips

Floyd Lavoy Phillips, 82, formerly of Woodville, ID died Monday, Nov. 23, 2009, at Providence Milwaukie Hospital of congested heart failure.

     He was born Oct. 20, 1927, in Aberdeen, ID., to James Bert and Emma Elmira Phillips. He married Donna Ruth Orchard on Nov. 30, 1951, in Fort Hall, ID. He and Donna raised three sons and one daughter together.

     He was a loving husband and devoted father. He spent much of his time feeding the neighborhood by gardening, volunteering at Deseret Industries, wood working, crafts, landscaping and other outdoor activities such as fishing with his family. He was the happiest when he was with his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

     He is survived by his children Delbert Reeder, Delmer Reeder, Donna Burke and Dennis Phillips; sister Elva Kirtley; brothers Narval Phillips, Donald Phillips and LaVern (Red) Phillips.

     Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 30, 2009 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Monday morning 9:30 till 10:45 A.M. at the funeral Home. Interment will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
