H. Terry Child

Harold Terry Child, 65, of Firth passed away February 15, 2012 at Bingham Memorial Hospital.

He was born August 22, 1946 at Shelley, Idaho to Harold T. and Amy Pearl Madsen Child.  He attended schools in Firth graduating from Firth High School in 1964.  He then attended Weber State University.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Terry married Jennifer Sethmann and they had two children, Shawn and Kristan.  They were later divorced.  He worked for the Oregon Liquor Commission, retiring after 30 years.

He is survived by his two children, Shawn Child and Kristan Child, six grandchildren, Trevor, Fallon, Josie, Mont, Logan, Hazel Rose, and one great grandchild, Olivia Joy, siblings, Elvin Goodson, Jeanice Dye, Shirley Burris, Bonnie Hansen, and Connie Martin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, February 20, 2012 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the services.  Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
