Hazel Nadine Brents

Hazel Nadine Brents, 66, of Blackfoot passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family at her side on January 12, 2013 at her home in Blackfoot.

She was born March 1, 1946 in Dallas, Oregon to Oliver and Mamie Cox.

She worked in many fields of employment in her life including: electronics, plumbing and electrical, hospital housekeeping, and caregiver to the disabled and ill.  She was always a hard worker.

Hazel married Jonnie Lee Brents on March 17, 1976 at Reno, Nevada.

She loved crocheting, needle point, and playing computer games.  She was of the Protestant faith.

She is survived by her daughter, Robin (Dan) Bartell, brother, Loren (Bertha) Cox, four grandsons and five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jonnie Brents, brother, Robert Cox, sisters, Donna Cox and Virgina LeFever.

Private family services will be held at a later date.   Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
