Jace Holland Dredge, a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend passed away at his Idaho Falls home November 16th, 2022. He was 38 years old.
Jace was born to Holland and Gale (Hungerford) Dredge in Idaho Falls, ID February 11, 1984. He graduated from Shelley High School in 2002.
He served in the Peoria, IL mission and loved his time there and the people that he met. After returning, he continued his education at ISU studying history and business. He excelled in school making the Dean’s List. Learning and reading were a passion of his.
Jace was a lover of nature and all of God’s creation and would spend time sitting down by the river that he grew up on. His love for sports was known by all. He could read the sports page stats and retain the numbers for years and years to come. He was a loyal Spurs fan. There was always a game on and a house full of friends enjoying Mom’s cooking. He will be remembered for his quick wit and contagious laugh.
Jace was a fantastic Uncle. He loved his 3 nieces and 3 nephews with all his heart. He would take them to get treats or sit and play Mario Brothers for hours on end. He and his brother, Jon, shared a bond over sports and he loved talking politics with his older sister, Natalie. He was the protector of his baby sister, Jenna, and spent lots of time with her and their friends.
He was welcomed back to his heavenly home by his loving Mom and so many other family members and good friends.
He is survived by his dad, Holland Dredge; brother, Jonathan Dredge; sisters, Natalie Underwood (Dave) and Jenna Emery (Nick) ; Nieces, Olyvia, Sloan, and Nellie; Nephews, Lincoln, Jack and Beckham.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 W. Oak Street) in Shelley. The family will meet with friends Wednesday from 10:00 till 11:45 am at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
