James Jim Lee Dial

James "Jim" Lee Dial of Shelley lost his battle with cancer August 28 2013.

James was born in Blackfoot, July 17, 1951 to Bob and LaVaun Beasley Dial. His early years were spent on Cedar Creek Ranch.  At the age of three the family moved to Firth where he resided till moving to Shelley in 1989.

In August of 1974 he met the love of his life and soul mate Kristina Johnson and they were married April 19, 1975.

His early years of

employment

were driving truck for Pfiefer and Dial Trucking Co.  In 1977 James began his 36 year

career

at the R.T. French Co. which changed hands to later become Basic American Foods.  He remained at BAF till his health forced him to retire in February.

He is survived by his wife Kris, his special niece, Courtney who was his daughter, sister, Joy, brothers, Russell, Robert, BobbyLee, and Glen, step-siblings Linda, Bobby, and Doreen.

He was preceded on death by his parents, stepmother, and father-in-law.

Services will be held Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 W Oak Street) in Shelley at 11:00 am.  Family will meet with family and friends from 9:30 to 10:45.
