Janell Hult Baird

Janell Hult Baird, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, June 5, at EIRMC.

She was born October 10, 1929, in Wapello, Idaho, to parents Peter J. and Virginia Steffenson Hult.

She married Clair K. Baird on August 31, 1946. They were married for 66 years. They had four children: Sherl K. Baird (deceased), Elyse Baird of Idaho Falls, Bobette (Kenneth) Weimer, Auburn, Washington, and Amy Reynolds, Tacoma, Washington.

They lived in many states with Clair's federal employment during their marriage including Alaska, Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Mississippi, and South Dakota. She enjoyed seeing new places and learning new things. Janell worked for the State of Alaska, the Federal Aviation Administration, and retired from the US Forest Service in 1994.

Janell was preceded in death by her husband Clair, her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a son, Sherl K. Baird.

She is survived by her three daughters, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two siblings, Carol Hult, Fontana, California, and LeRoy Hult, Nampa, Idaho.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will meet with friends Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery.
