Jerry Don Wilhelm

Jerry Don Wilhelm, 50, of Idaho Falls passed away March 16, 2024 of an accidental carbon monoxide poisoning.

Jerry was born December 4, 1973 to Gerald Wilhelm and Roxann Jones.  He ended up being the only boy with three sisters. Other than a few years in Texas as a small boy he spent the rest of his childhood and teenage years in Shelley. He went to Shelley High School. Jerry was a father of seven kids and a grandfather to 14 grandchildren.

Jerry loved working on cars, camping, and riding his motorcycle.  He has had many jobs in different trades over the years.  The last five to six years he has worked for ReBorn & Sons. I am pretty sure his favorite part of the job was he got to work and spend time with his nephews everyday.  If you knew Jerry you knew he had a heart of gold but also was a prankster.  He was a friend to so many.

In 2021 he met and started dating his soulmate and the love of his life, Brianne.  They shared a great love and many adventures. They were together until the end.

He is survived by his parents, Gerald Wilhelm and Roxann Jones, three sisters, Sandy Born, Paula Wilhelm, and Tracie (Chato) Gee, the love of his life, Brianne Roessler, his children, Roxann (Lewis Johnson) Wilhelm, Sandy (Butch) Pearson, Dennis (Sara) Wilhelm, Robyn Wilhelm, JR Wilhelm, Christopher Wilhelm, and Jason Wilhelm, 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins and a nephew.

A last ride for Jerry  will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024. We will be meeting and leaving Cabala's in Ammon at 11:00 a.m. and traveling to the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery for a graveside service and burial. The graveside service will begin at 11:45 a.m.  A luncheon will be served following the services across the street from the cemetery at his aunt's home.  The family is under the care of Nalder Funeral Home.
