Joann Beth Fife passed away in her home on November 25, 2016 surrounded by all three of her children Rhonda, Cindy, and D.J. as well as her beloved husband of 50 years, Garry.
She was born on May 20, 1945 to Henry Alvero Fisher and Vaunda Beth Jones, Joann spent 65 years of her life in Idaho, working in a high end dress shop called LeVine’s, as a teacher, a librarian, and a stay at home Mother and Nana.
She was a cherished sister to Doyle and Randy Fisher and a treasured Nana to Katie, Brody, and Shelby. Her family meant the world to her.
Joann was a multitalented crafter and enjoyed oil painting, woodworking, counted-cross stitch, and crotchet, creating gifts for her friends and family.
She spent over 40 years of her life fighting various health issues, and she proved the doctors wrong time and time again, even until the very end.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak in Shelley. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 p.m. and Thursday morning from 10:00 till 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
