John "Jack" Perry Milender

John “Jack” P. Milender 69, of Shelley, Idaho died Saturday August 5, 2006 of a long time illness of heart problems & pneumonia. He suffered a heart attack while on a camping trip near Swan Valley, Idaho. 

He was born October 8, 1936 in Casper Wyoming to Wilbert and Maybelle Hefferin Milender. 

He served in the Marine Corp. from 1952-1956.  He was a long standing member of  the Plumber/Pipe fitters Union # 192 and the American Legion, Eagles & and was retired at the time of his death.  He enjoyed the outdoors and camping with his dog Queenie. 

He married Joanne V. Shipman on June 1, 1958, she preceded him in death in 1986. He married Mary Laird Milender April 15, 2003.

He is survived by his wife Mary Laird Milender, Children Pamela (Harley) Laird,  Michael (Susan) Milender, Tami (Brett) Lyons, Thomas Laird and Grandchildren, Brian, Christy, Zachary, Nicholas, Madison, Michael, Charlie , Crispen & Denny.

Funeral Services are pending to be held at a later date in Sept. 2006 in Casper, Wyo. at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Ashes will be spread and Military Services will be held by the American Legion.  Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley, Idaho.
