Jonathan Taylor

Jonathan Taylor, 32, of Firth passed away January 1, 2013 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Jon was a beautiful spirit that left the world much too soon.

Jon was born May 16, 1980 to Susan Gerard and Mark Taylor in Burley, Idaho.  He lived in the Burley-Declo area until his family moved to Basalt, Idaho.  Jon graduated from Firth High School.  He currently attended Adventure Center in Idaho Falls.

He loved watching his favorite wrestlers on TV and the Dallas Cowboys games.  His very favorite pet was a live lizard named Sid.

Jon and his brother, Jeremy both participated in the Special Olympics and they were proud of their many medals.

He is survived by his father, Mark Taylor of Basalt; grandfather, Jim Gerard of Basalt; grandmother, Sally Taylor of Burley; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan, brothers, Markie and Jeremy, and sister, Jollie.

Jon will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak, in Shelley.  The family will meet with friends Saturday from 11:30 till 12:40 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the West Jefferson Cemetery at 3:00 P.M.
