Jonathon James Ralph Adamson, 18, of Shelley passed away December 10, 2014 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born on the 24
th
of July 1996 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Reneta Humphries and Kaye Barnett Adamson.
A strong spirit that had to face a lot of trials in his life, yet even with adversities he always had a smile for his friends and family. As a young boy he loved being active and participated in basketball, football, and baseball youth sports and karate.
Jonathon had a beautiful singing voice though he shared it only on rare occasions and took violin, piano, and guitar lessons. As a youth he enjoyed being in performances at the Virginia Theater of Shelley. He had many friends and was a loyal friend to them and to his foreign exchange brothers who he always cared deeply about.
He graduated from Shelley High School the spring of 2014 having enjoyed his friends there, especially those in FFA and Shop. He loved farming and mechanics and he rebuilt his own transmission as a 17 year old. He was very talented mechanically and could fix almost anything. His welding skills were of a fine bead. It was his goal to go on to school and to earn an Ag Tech Degree from BYUI. He was preparing to serve a mission for the LDS Church first though and was working extra hours to earn enough to make it possible to go this coming spring.
He was employed by Snake River Supply of Idaho Falls his entire senior school year and was employed by Searle Farms of Shelley at the time of his passing. He loved being in the seat of a tractor.
He was preceded in death by his father Kaye Barnett Adamson and his brother Kason Rock Adamson. He leaves behind his mother Reneta Humphries Adamson and brothers Gerald Kaye Adamson (Jessie Siepert) of Boise Idaho, Hyrum Len Adamson (Deseree Hunt) and Jared Spencer Adamson of Shelley, and his grandparents Len and Fern Humphries of Egin, Idaho.
Funeral services will be held at the Jameston - Sand Creek LDS ward building (1101 East 1250 North) east of Shelley on Saturday December 13, 2014 at 11:00 am. with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. prior and an earlier viewing on Friday evening at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; He will be laid to rest beside his brother and his father in the Taylor cemetery.
