Josefina Vazquez Hernandez

Josefina Vazquez Hernandez, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Josefina passed away Aug 26,2023.

She was born July 27, 1959 in Nicolas Bravo, Chihuahua. Josefina was a strong woman of faith, attended Saint John Paul II Parish. Loved working in the garden, baking her famous (biscocho) cookies, and exploring new cooking recipes.

She was preceded in death by her parents Isidro Vazquez and Maria Elena Hernandez, her sister Chony, and nephews.

She is survived by her seven children. Carla Jurado, Lucy Jurado, Pedro Jurado, Adriana Jurado, Gil Jurado, Maria Jurado, and Claudia Jurado, her 25 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, her sister’s and brothers.

Please remember her by spreading kindness and a smile to those she meet along her path.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Holy Rosary Church, 905 South Lee Avenue, Idaho Falls.  A Rosary service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 W Oak Street, Shelley The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Cemetery.
