Karen Knight Bonzon

Karen Knight Bonzon passed away January 13, 2011 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born January 29, 1939 to Blonda and Lloyd Knight in Payson, Utah.  She attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated in 1958 from Minidoka High School in Rupert.

In 1958 she married Wayne Taylor and had one son Keith.  She later divorced and in 1960 she married Jim Pasborg and had 2 more children, Shelley and Jim Jr.  She then divorced and married Dennis Bonzon.

She lived in Rock Springs, Wyoming for 26 years and then moved to Basalt, Idaho until the time of her death.

She worked as a waitress for 50 years at Betty's Cafe for 15 of those years until she retired.

She loved playing piano and loved listening to all sorts of music.  She enjoyed doing her yard work and raising her beautiful roses.  She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and her family.

She is survived by her children: Keith Bonzon, Boise, ID; Shelley Berggren, Basalt, ID;  Jim (Pam) Pasborg, Rock Springs, WY;  Calvin (Caralee) Boznon, Aberdeen, ID; Tara (Kent) Bonzon Rawlins, St Louis, MO; She was the Gram of 5 grandchildren, Trinity Bonzon, Andy Berggren, James, Ryan and Gini Pasborg, and 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Blonda Knight, husband, Dennis Bonzon, sister, Betty Jo Cederberg, two bothers, LLoyd and Carlos Knight and one daughter, Candy Bonzon.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday January 19, 2011 at the Riverview Cemetery in Firth.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 till 9:00 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
