Ladine Hansen Gentillon died July 10, 2007 at her home.
She was born June 21, 1931 to J. Earl and Kate Hansen in Goshen, Idaho. She grew up in the Goshen area and graduated from Firth High School.
She married her high school sweetheart, Maurice Gentillon on November 24, 1949. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple on April 1, 1977. She devoted her life to her husband, six children and family farm. Once her children were older, she worked at Idaho Supreme and retired after 17 years.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She enjoyed crocheting, genealogy, gardening and caring for her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, children Sandra (Steve) Staples, Mont (Lori) Gentillon, Wes (Connie) Gentillon, Carla (Terry) Meppen, Cindy ( Jason) Orme, and Stacia (Kenny) Coughlan, all of Firth, 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her sister Barbara (Tom) Eichel of San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons and one great grandson.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 13th at the Firth/Kimball Ward Chapel (744 North 600 East) with Bishop Kim Leavitt officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday July 12th from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and Friday morning one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
