Larita Fern Weekes

LaRita Fern Frandsen Weekes of Shelley, passed away December 10, 2016 at the age of 87.

She was born May 13, 1929 in Idaho Falls to James Peter and Susie Etta Williams Frandsen.

She and Earl Donald Weekes were married for 48 years and have three surviving children. She and Don had 3 sons who died in infancy.

Her surviving children are Marlena Johnson, Ilene Byington and Steven J. Weekes.

She has five grandchildren, Lynette Vasbinder, Drue Samargis, Royce Samargis, Katie McPherson, and Sara Weekes. She has one great grandchild, Wyatt Samargis.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and one of her favorite callings was being a den mother in the Cub Scouts.

LaRita was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Victor Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
