Now in GOD'S hands, Leah Lucille Carter King, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 16, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Lucille was born February 9, 1939, in Shelley, Idaho, to Ronald V. and Velma Grace Priest Carter. Lucille was the sixth of seven children.
She grew up and attended schools in Shelley, graduating from Shelley High School. She was married to Clair L. Kelsey and to this union were born three children. They were later divorced.
On October 27, 1991 Lucille and Fredrick Michael King were married in Yuma, AZ. They made Yuma their home until October of 2010 when they moved to Idaho Falls.
Lucille is survived by her loving husband, "Mike" King, of Idaho Falls, two sons, Jerry C. Kelsey (Cookie) of Missouri, Vincent Clair (Joni) Kelsey of Oklahoma, daughter, Clarese (Steve) Ferguson of Arizona. Six grandchildren and two Great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald & Velma Carter, and two brothers, Jim "R" Carter and Frank Carter.
Lucille was deeply loved, and loved life deeply.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Tuesday morning from 9:30 till 10:45 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
