Linda Pattee

Linda Ann Pattee, 82, of Shelley passed away on October 9, 2024 at her home. 

Linda was born in Garden City, Utah, to William and Pauline (Shepherd Hansen) in 1942. She was raised in the Goshen area and graduated from Firth High School in 1960. She married Terry Pattee on November 13, 1965 in Goshen, Idaho. Linda worked as a receptionist at the site, a lab tech for Pillsbury and Basic American, as a receptionist for the Idaho Falls Dental Group and finally as a receptionist for Freedom Law Office, retiring in 2021. 

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, parents, sisters (Jean Scott, Paula Baxter, Susan Hagen) and brother (Warren Hawkes). She is survived by her children David (Cathy) Pattee, Troy Pattee, Teresa (Leif) Watson, Penny Pattee, Jennifer (Mike) Millett, Holly Pattee, her brothers Mike Hawkes, Dan Hawkes, Brian Hawkes, 14 grandchildren, and her cats (Peaches and Blacktail). 

Family was central to her life; she took great pride in raising her children and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Linda was practical, hardworking, and deeply committed to those she loved. Her guidance and presence were constants for her family and her steady down to earth nature will be remembered by all who knew her. Linda loved flowers; Planting, weeding, feeding and growing them was work that she truly enjoyed. 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at the Shelley Fourth Ward Chapel, 184 North Park Ave, Shelley. The family will receive friends Wednesday morning from 9:30 till 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home in Shelley.
