Lindy Hall, 85, of Shelley passed away August 18, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 31, 1927 in Tetonia, Idaho to Earl and Eva Stewart Hall.
He grew up and attended school in Menan.
Lindy came from a big family; he had three brothers and four sisters.
Lindy was drafted into the Army and was sent to Fort Bliss.
He was an avid horseman his entire life.
He shoed horses in the valley for 40 years and was the best horseshoer around.
He is survived by a son, Lynn (Julie) Hall, a daughter, Linda Moore, brothers, Melvin and Ronald, sisters, Maurine Radford, Shirley Overy, and Renae Porter, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Elmo, a sister, Wanda Larson, and an infant daughter.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Friday, August 23, 2013 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:30 till 11:45 at Nalder Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Taylor Cemetery with military rites by the David B. Bleak Post 93 of Shelley assisted by the Idaho Honor Guard.
