Luciano M. Ramirez, 78, of

Idaho Falls

passed away September 8, 2008 at his home from natural causes.

He was born December 13, 1929 in

Hondo

,

Texas

to Julio Ramirez and Endelia Moreno Ontiveros.

On April 3, 1948 he married Clotilde “Tita” Ramirez in

Hondo

,

Texas

.

He was employed as a migrant worker in his early years in

Idaho

. He worked as a farmer in the

Lewisville

and Osgood areas.

In the early 60’s he started driving truck for Hill Milling Company in Terreton.

In 1984 he drove bus at the INL and retired in 1994.

He worked part time for the

Jefferson County Road

and Bridge until

2000, when his wife had a stroke and at that time he dedicated his life to take care of her until her passing two months ago.

He is survived by his children: Linda

Christine ( Kim) Walker of Idaho Falls; David (Robin) Ramirez of Brigham City, UT; Grace (Jim) Hailey of Indianapolis, IN; George Ramirez of Idaho Falls; Chono (Laura) Ramirez of Meridian; Richard Ramirez of Tijuana, Mexico; Jerry (Lisa) Ramirez of Ucon; Rodney Ramirez of Idaho Falls; and Ernie (Shannon) Ramirez of Moses Lake, WA; 34 grandchildren and 55 great grandchildren, one brother, Gilbert (Pauline) Ramirez of El Paso, TX; and one sister, Lupe Dominquez of Tacoma, WA.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 13, 2008 at the

and Higbee in

Idaho Falls

. The family will receive friends Friday evening 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (

110 West Oak Street

) in Shelley. Burial will be in the

Shelley
