After 93 years of service to her family, church and community, Lula Mary Lundquist died at home on 14th of June, 2007.

She was born August 4, 1913 at Cotton, Idaho to Samuel E. Crofts and Rosalind Allen Crofts and lived her entire life in the Shelley area.

She married Clarence H. Lundquist on June 22, 1932 in Shelley.  They were the parents of three children.

She loved to travel and often said her idea of heaven was having a window seat on a Greyhound bus watching the world go by.  After her husband died 33 years ago, she traveled around the United States, and visited Mexico, most of Europe, England, Iceland, Hawaii, and Canada.

Her favorite pastimes were doing crossword puzzles and scrap booking.

Mother loved to have a garden and kept a large garden as long as she could and then settled to keep the weeds out of her flower gardens.

She was a member and an officer in the DUP and gained many friends through her work in this wonderful organization.

Survivors include her three children, Carol Dutson, Ronald (Shirley) Lundquist both of Shelley and Elaine (Lorenzo) Bollar of Shoshone.   10 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 13 step-great grandchildren, and 3 great, great, grandchildren, and 7 step great, great grandchildren.  A sister, Ada Swift, and four brothers, Lewis Croft, James Croft, Roy Croft and Verlyn Croft.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, her parents, son-in-law Mont Dutson, 4 sisters, 4 brothers, and a great grand daughter.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday June 20th  at the Shelley Eighth Ward, (184 North Park Ave). The family will visit with friends from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday June 191th at Nalder  Funeral Home, (110 West Oak St). in Shelley and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. Wednesday before services at the church. Interment will be at the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
