Lyle Edward Croft, 78, of Idaho Falls, former Firth resident, passed away June 10, 2006 at the Good Samaritan Center in Idaho Falls.
He was born March 9, 1928 in Shelley, Idaho to Samuel Edward and Rosalind Allen Croft. He grew up and attended school in Shelley.
On April 25, 1952 he married Deon Francis Woodruff in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He worked at Bellville welding in Shelley, Challenge Creamery for many years, Idaho Supreme, and Teton Medical Center.
Lyle enjoyed camping, fishing, working on cars and motorcycles.
He is survived by his wife, Deon Croft of Idaho Falls, five sons, Michael Allen Croft of Idaho Falls, Jerry Lyle (Sue) Croft of Idaho Falls, Lorin Eugene (Connie) Croft of Shelley, Greg (Rose) Croft of Idaho Falls, and Clint Scott (Melissa) Croft of Idaho Falls, two sisters, Lula Lundquist and Ada Swift both of Shelley, four brothers, Jim (Merle) Croft of Shelley, LeRoy (Lucille) Croft and Lewis Croft, and Verlyn (Maggie) Croft all of Idaho Falls, 31 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Kenny and Marion.
Funeral services will be held Thursday June 15th at 11:00 A.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 W. Oak) in Shelley. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. and Thursday morning 10:00 till 10:40 A.M. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 5386 Boise, Idaho 83705.
