Marjean Hillman

Marjean Hillman, 84, of Idaho Falls, Idaho passed away September 19, 2011 at Idaho Falls Care and Rehab Center.

Marjean was born June 22, 1927 in Providence, Utah to Walter Heber and Alverta Adella Bowler.

She attended and graduated High School in Shelley, Idaho. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Ladder-day Saints.

On November 27, 1927 she married Ivan Leroy Thurman and lived in the Salt Lake City, Utah area until moving to Shelley, Idaho in 1956.  She worked at the R T French Co. until her retirement.  In 1978 she married Robert Lee Smith who passed away in 1991. She then married Lyle Irvin Hillman in 1996, and was with him until he passed away in 2002.  She then moved to Idaho Falls.

She is survived by her brother, Wallace (Grace) Bowler of Sandy, Utah; sister, Maxine (Ira) Armstrong, West Valley City, Utah; brother, Richard Bowler, son, Dean Thurman of Idaho Falls, Idaho; daughter, Connie Biesner of Gardnerville, NV; and 17 step-children between the Smith and Hillman families, grand and great-grand children to numerous to mention.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Alverta Bowler, sister, Wanda Christensen, husband, Robert Lee Smith, husband, Lyle Irvin Hillman and son, Kenneth Ivan Thurman.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.  The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. and Friday morning 10:00 till 10:40 A.M. at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
