Michael Craig Alvey died Dec. 1, 2010 in Fowler, CO. Michael was born April 24, 1980 to Richard C. Alvey and Angela L. Clark (White) in Idaho Falls, ID. Michael resided with his parents Richard and Cherise in the Idaho Falls/Firth area. In his adolescent years he spent some time in Blackfoot, Rigby, and Ririe. He later moved to Fowler, CO where he met Maria Altamorano. They moved to Oklahoma where his beautiful daughter Jacquelin Marie was born. Two years later after moving back to Colorado, another beautiful daughter Ashlynn Sarah came into his life. Michael's heart would never be the same. In 2005 Michael started the task of raising his daughters on his own, with the help of his parents (Angela and Gregg White) in Colorado. Michael loved golfing, fishing, and the outdoors. He worked as a tradesman doing welding and machining. He was happiest when he was hard at work or spending time with his girls. He was a free-spirit who did things his way. His big heart and mischievous smile will be missed by all who loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Elaine Young Alvey of Idaho Falls and his aunt Donna Minton of Ucon.
He is survived by his parents Angela White (Gregg White) of Fowler, CO, Richard Alvey of Idaho Falls, ID, and Cherise Alvey of Firth, ID; grandparents LaVar Alvey (Marlena Alvey) of Idaho Falls, ID, Arelda Clark (Lloyd Clark) of Ucon, ID and Jack Richins of Monteview, ID; Siblings Stephanie Bird (Jeremy Bird) of Idaho Falls, ID, Paul Alvey (BreAnn Alvey) of Moscow, ID, Daynon Alvey of Firth, ID, Jayson Holzworth of Salt Lake City, UT, Nateale Alvey currently in Hong Kong, China, Christopher Holzworth of Grand Junction, CO, Donnie White of Fowler, CO, Kreisha Alvey of Firth, ID and Quinn Alvey of Firth, ID; and his precious daughters Jacquelin Marie and Ashlynn Sarah of Fowler, CO.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday December 7, 2010 at the Goshen-Presto Ward Chapel (792 North 1090 East). The family will receive friends Monday evening 7:00 till 8:30 P.M. at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley and for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
