Michael Lee Eilander, 47, of Simpsonville, South Carolina passed away August 26, 2019.
On December 13th, 1971 Michael was born in San Bernardino, California. Michael worked as a conductor for BNSF Railway and eventually moved into the position of a train dispatcher. He enjoyed and took pride in his job. Throughout his life Michael had an appetite for adventure and adrenaline. He loved snowboarding and riding his sport bike.
Michael put in a lot of time and work into weight training and even competed in a bodybuilding competition. Michael enjoyed drawing; his children never left the house with a boring lunch box or binder. He loved to have fun, instead of “don’t do that” it was “don’t tell mom”. If one had the pleasure of getting to know Michael, he would rank high on their list of funniest people. He loved his family and spending time with his children. Michael treated his children’s friends like they were his own. He never hesitated to join in on the fun, anything from ‘crack the egg’ on the trampoline to brutal pillow fights.
Michael is survived by his three children, Isaiah Eilander, Brooklynn Moss and Keira Eilander. His father Terry Eilander. He is also survived by his siblings, Tanya Ferguson, Dana Felix, Aaron Eilander, Zack Eilander, Jake Eilander, Jamie Ferguson and Samantha Anderl. He is preceded in death by his mother Mary Beth Eilander and his father Rick Ferguson.
Michael was a very passionate man who loved with all his heart. Those that knew Michael will miss him dearly.
