Morgan Makenzie Martin

Morgan Makenzie Martin, 24, of Shelley, Idaho, passed away peacefully in the early morning of January 14, 2024 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 2, 1999 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Don and Angela Martin. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend who touched many lives with her kindness and generosity. 

Morgan had a huge heart and a radiant smile that brightened every room. She loved the ocean, fishing, camping, and playing board games. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and always knew how to make them laugh. She completed 2 years of college at CEI.  

She is survived by her parents, Don and Angela Martin; her brother, Jed (Brandy) Martin; her sisters, Melissa (Andrew) Bradish, Megan (Andrew) Stewart, Chelsea (Aaron) McDonough, and Madalyn (Daniel) Arave, her boyfriend Dylan Trowbridge, her grandma Linda Arthurs and her beloved dog, Chiquita. As well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. 

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Rachel Martin, and Gene and Charlene Hoffer. As well as many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.   

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 20, 2024 at the Shelley First Ward Chapel, 184 North Park Ave. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 till 7:30 P.M at Nalder Funeral Home, 110 West Oak Street, in Shelley and Saturday morning from 10:00 till 10:45 A.M. at the church. Interment will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
