Naomi Mariam Mattson Crandall, 79, of Shelley died May 2, 2007, at the Idaho Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Ririe, Idaho, January 30, 1928 to Frank Edward Mattson and Amy Maude Weaver Mattson. She grew up and attended schools in Ririe and Idaho Falls. She owned and operated a sewing business from home for over forty years.
On March 27, 1950, she married Alfred Lee “Al” Crandall. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. On October 20, 1994, she was sealed to her devoted husband, Al and their two loving daughters, Amy and Lori. She enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, and gardening flowers. Naomi loved and adored her four grandchildren.
Survivors are her two daughters, Amy Lea (Jim) Cook, Lori Anne Crandall, of Shelley, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and six siblings.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 8th in the Shelley 3rd Ward Chapel (513 South Park Ave.). The family will visit with friends Monday evening at Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) from 7:00 till 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday morning from 9:30 till 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
