Nathanael “Nate” Richard Osburn, 20, of Shelley lost his battle with depression on September 9, 2015.
He was born August 2, 1995 in Idaho Falls to Tracy Allen and Debra Sue Stanley Osburn.
He graduated from Shelley High School in 2014.
In high school he was a member of the Ballroom Dance Team and was active in Theater and Drama.
While in high school he coauthored and published a fictional book titled “The Tale Hunters” under the author name “Young Scribes.”
Nate enjoyed camping, fishing, Doctor Who and playing games with Autumn, Miranda, Calvin, Colby, and Wynn the best friends ever. He had a great love for his nephew and nieces and they loved him. He would spend hours upon hours playing with them.
He is survived by his parents of Shelley; siblings, Laura Nicole Osburn of Shelley; Tracy “TJ” Ammon (Brittany) Osburn of Centralia, WA; Tyler Edward Osburn of Shelley; Seth Stewart Osburn of Shelley; nephew, Tracy Andrew Osburn, nieces, Stephanie and Cassarae Osburn all of Centralia, WA; grandparents, Richard & Carol Stanley of Hurricane, UT; and Laura Ilene Osburn of Pocatello.
He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Norman Osburn.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 14, 2015 at the Shelley Stake Center (325 East Locust). Arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home (110 West Oak) in Shelley.
Burial will be in the Shelley Hillcrest Cemetery.
