Patrick Kenneth Fleming

July 8, 1933 — September 15, 2024

Patrick Kenneth Fleming, 91, of Shelley, Idaho, passed away at The Gables of Idaho Falls on September 15, 2024, after spending most of the week visiting with family and friends.

Pat was born in Wallace, Idaho, on July 8, 1933. He attended school in Wallace and graduated from Wallace High School in 1950. He continued education at the University of Idaho and later transferred to Idaho State University and graduated from Pharmacy School in 1957. It was there that he met his sweetheart Catherine Bartschi. They married in February 1956. They had three sons and one daughter: Michael, Timothy, Kevin, and Christine.

In their early years, Pat and his young family lived in several places and then moved to Rupert, Idaho, where they had purchased 30 acres and a quaint old farmhouse. He loved their home and always said that it was a great place to raise a family.

Pat loved the great outdoors, hunting, taking nature photos, driving in the desert and reading the poetry of Robert Service. He enjoyed watching Bob Ross, Lawrence Welk, Finding Bigfoot, Skinwalker Ranch and Boise State Football.

Patrick was an extremely dedicated husband and father. Nothing meant more to him than his family.

Patrick is survived by his four children, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Rupert MAR Cemetery, (450 North Meridian). Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nalder Funeral Home, in Shelley.
